I used to work at this place in the 60’s and 70’s when it was called Lionel’s Meat Market , owned by Gèrald Chaput. I was delivreving groceries (and beer) by bicycle.I was a friend of his son Alain. We knew many people in the neighborhood and it was a very united community. We were probably the only french canadian business in the neighborhood, We had a friendly competition with Chatfield’s at the corner of Sherbrooke and Clermont. Many deleightful memories.
