Following a two year (Covid) hiatus, the annual event event was held this weekend at Westmount Park.
A walk through the park during a rainy Thursday afternoon.
A quiet walk, during a holiday Monday, through King George and Westmount Parks.
The latest addition to Westmount Park – a pump track.
Developed by Parkitect AG (Springer, Switzerland) their “park edition” retails for (approximately) $78,000.
One hopes it receives plenty of use.
“Do you remember the Shire, Mr. Frodo? It’ll be spring soon. And the orchards will be in blossom. And the birds will be nesting in the hazel thicket. And they’ll be sowing the summer barley in the lower fields… and eating the first of the strawberries with cream. Do you remember the taste of strawberries?” (J. R. Tolkien, The Return of the King)
