Greene Avenue – Stones An interesting pile of discarded stones, from a renovation, on a lane off Greene Avenue.
Selby – An Abandoned Building’s Former Garden One of several Silver Fountain Butterfly Bushes (Buddleia alternifolia ‘Argentea’) in the abandoned building’s former garden.
Selby Park – Graffiti Graffiti on various buildings opposite Selby Park. Some think this is “art” – municipalities regard this as a “crime”. Frankly, I find these as an eyesore.
Selby Park – Greene Avenue and Selby A green “oasis” adjacent to the Ville-Marie Expressway (Autoroute 720). Rarely visited by people outside the area.
Westmount – Floral Clock – Sherbrooke Street Hardly, a “Westmount Overlooked” item. However, very few people pause to appreciate the intricate details that comprise this floral arrangement.
Red Feather Agency Building – Atwater Ave. A former Red Feather Agency building on Atwater Ave.; currently used as “Pavillion Gilman”, an annex for the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The Red Feather Agency, today, is known as the United Way of Canada/ Centraide Canada.
St Stephen’s Anglican Church – 4006 Dorchester St Stephen’s Anglican Church. By all appearances, the church does good work as a refuge, and haven, for a portion of Montreal’s disadvantaged population.
