I am finally fulfilling a (very) belated request from one the handful (literally!) of faithful readers of this blog.

In 1900 William Wright, a commercial traveller, made this his residence.

There used to be house at 4209 Western Ave. (now named de Maisonneuve Blvd.) that was widely reported to be haunted.

It was demolished in the early 1960s. The site’s former lot now contains condominiums with a specialty grocery store on the first floor.

This is the tallest sunflower, part of an annual patch, growing near De Maisonneuve.

A walk along Prince Albert – there are several (shortened) lanes as well as flowers growing in large wooden containers.
