A balmy Saturday evening in Westmount Park – the park was filled with people enjoying the “first taste” of pending warmer weather.

Most of us living in Westmount drive past Hydro Westmount’s Glen substation on a regular basis without giving it a “second thought”.
Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time with the Director of Hydro Westmount and tour their facility – it is a network that is “steeped in history”!

A sure sign of Spring is the arrival of the Mallard ducks in Westmount Park – this male was enjoying the puddles, created by the melting ice, on the surface of the park’s soccer field.
Enjoying some time outdoors during what passes as “Spring”. One must admit, Canadians are a “hardy lot”!
