I have often wondered what causes this damage to the trees’ bark in Westmount Park. Could it be vandalism or insensitive cutting of the park’s grassy areas – I am not sure. These pictures were taken shortly after the park’s grass was cut.

Westmount – Repaving
Repaving St. Catherine. In the early 1900’s trucks would pour water on unpaved streets to minimize the dust- this is like a “throw back” to that period.
